Who we are:
PupScout’s Camp & Bakery has been in official business since 2015. The owner and founder, Devan Torrence, has been pet sitting and baking homemade dog treats since the summer of 2013.
Devan worked as a veterinary technician and assistant from 2012-2016 at Animal Medical Center in Columbus, MS. Devan is a full-time lecturer Mississippi State University.
Mary Pollitz’s love for pets came through her love for people. She is a dedicated and responsible bookkeeper with a flair for getting any dog to behave. Mary is a Public Relations Officer in Columbus, Mississippi.
What we do:
PupScout’s Camp strives for excellence in all pet and home sitting needs. We are happy to sit any safe animal- including domestic and farm animals. Our experience includes dogs, cats, chickens, horses, goats, birds, vegetable gardens, flowerbeds, and the feeding of homeless pets. Have a unique case? Just ask.
Our wish is that you return home to happy, healthy pets, gardens tended as if you were there, and a home as clean as you left it!
In special cases, we will also watch pets in our homes. This is dependent on many factors including our pets’ health, your pet’s temperament with other animals (including chickens), your pet’s size, and our availability.
